Our Premier Issue of Connextions Magazine released in November 2010.
Here is what some of our readers had to say:
Connecting from NYC:
Thanks for this beautiful contribution to the awareness of our community and the great job you've done providing little known facts about New York. I particularly like it's visual focus on one of the most marginalized groups within our community - drag queens. Nothing sums the greater principle we should all strive to adopt in our lives better than this line used in the video - "We are all equal. We are all one".
Connecting from OK:
Excited to see all the issues for all the 50 states. Can't wait until Oklahoma is featured; our state is overlooked many times! I'm sure I will be one of your most ardent fans!
Connecting from Cambridge UK:
Your magazine is great and the images are awesome!
Connecting from NY:
After such a long and tiring week of assignments, projects, tests and quizzes I could finally sit down with a cup of strong coffee, while it was raining outside, and the Connextions Magazine. It was a nice read after many days. I am usually not a "magazine" kinda guy but Connextions, I couldn't manage to miss. Every article offered something interesting to remain glued to. I liked the "Fight for Family" story about Mikey and Earl which was interesting but what caught my attention was the "LGBT Flag's History." It was really informative. I would say that its not just a "Gay" or "Lesbian" magazine, but a simple yet attractive guide to lifestyle. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to the next issue. The different websites towards the end were interesting. I checked them out and even got some stuff I was looking for! A very well compiled and presented issue. The photography was awesome. All the very best to the entire team of Connextions!
