Dear Editor (Shelly) -

I worked as the Social Media Coordinator for the 20th GLBT Expo in NYC.  Connextions Magazine took me under their wing and helped me with so many of my own basic functions. They did a great job retweeting and sharing both my Facebook and Twitter posts. They went above and beyond and plugged the Expo daily, several times, on their own accord.

Shelly was great - while at the convention, she sent me tons of great photos.  Not only of her own set up and of the exciting line-up she set up for the Expo itself, but of other vendors, colorful and eye catching displays in each booth, and helped tell me where things were in my absence.

Shelly is just an all around great person, very warm, very friendly, very eager to help promote others as well as her magazine!

I look forward to working with her again soon!

Warm regards,
Leanne C. Davis

Finding my niche as an artist has been an adventure.
However, Connextions Magazine is a wonderful venue to promote what I'm passionate about:
"Celebrating Our LGBT Community Through Color."
Shelly and her team are wonderful to work with and I greatly appreciate her and Connextions Magazine.
Cheers,
Ilisa

Thanks for the recommendation, NYC-JC looks great!  I've just sent Magnus an email and I am looking forward to his reply.  You can let him know what a great service you do for his hotel!  :)

NYC-JC is an advertiser in Connextions Magazine.

Wanted to thank you for sharing Monica Everydyke's information, we are meeting next Thursday night to discuss wedding photos.

  - Carrie is a subscriber who found Monica Everdyke Photography through Connextions Magazine.

Just wanted to let you know that I've booked 2 LGBT Weddings since the new law.  I think I owe part of that to you because of exposure.  Seems a lot of people are leery to inquire and being open with photo postings eases minds.  Anyway, thank you.

Dear Connextion,
I've been reading your mags and find them to be quite enjoyable. I hope to see more issues soon, and I would like to maintain regular contact with you guys. I think what your doing with your magazine is awesome and I hope you have much success. I am the young woman (the artist) who bought all 6 copies after riding the Cowboy's Bull, right across from your booth. I hope you remember me....thanks for the stories. Hope to hear from you again.

Dear Shelly,

First let me say that I can hardly type because I am so excited! The timing of this article is perfect! YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS BUT JUST LAST NIGHT I RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING EMAIL INDICATED BELOW, REGARDING SB 48. Immediately after seeing the excerpt that I penned which you featured in your recent publication, I phoned Marc Haupert of California Faith for Equality and shared it with him. I thought that this battle was over since those who opposed SB 48 failed to gather enough signatures to undo what the Governor had done by signing the bill into law, but as you can see we are in for a fierce battle in 2012. Words cannot express how grateful I am to you for featuring this excerpt. I have also asked Marc who works closely with Equality California and several other LGBT organizations to share the article with everyone he knows as well.

Shelly, admittedly I am a little weary because I have been fighting for Civil Rights both nationally and internationally for some time and at times I become discouraged but what you have done by including this article in your publication has encouraged me and infused me with new strength and determination; two things I will definitely need in 2012 to prevail over injustice and discrimination. I feel I owe you so much! Thank you for stopping by the side of the road to pick up, rescue, and bandage a wounded soldier so that I could continue fighting the good fight of faith!

I send my love, sincere gratitude, heartfelt appreciation and prayers your direction -- for your continued success and prosperity!

Your Brother and Friend,

Amazing as always...you girls never cease to amaze me :)

For me, Connextions Magazine is my choice of publications if you care about quality of content, beautiful photography, and every other aspect of what goes into publishing the best...WATCH OUT ALL OTHER LGBT PUBLICATIONS, Connextons Magazine is here to stay and rising fast to the top!

When I received my current issue, I literally dropped everything I was doing at the office and eased back into my chair to relax and enjoy what would be my best read of the day.  "A Stonewall Retrospect" was one of the best articles I have ever read relating to the historic uprising which sparked a trend in LGBT Activism.  A good friend of mine, Adam Hoover, was another highlight of the issue with coverage of his contribution to LGBT Equality in the state of Ohio...WE WILL HEAR A GREAT DEAL ABOUT THIS YOUNG MAN IN THE COMING MONTHS!

I have known Shelly Straub, the editor of Connextions Magazine for quite some time now and have watched her take this venture and build it into what it is today.  Truly, for anyone, if you are looking for a publication to latch on to and add to your top collection of reading materials or if you are a business wanting to reach a fantastic audience with your advertising dollars, you would be wise to turn to Shelly and Connextions Magazine.

Regards!

I enjoyed this edition of the Mag so much so that I was late for work. I couldn't put it down until I had consumed it along with my breakfast! Great work team!
