let's get geeky!
1996: Phantasmagoria 2
Many gay characters appeared through the years continuously, lesbians and transsexuals, but the big innovation is happening from Sierra Entertainment and Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh. It is an interactive, cinematic, psychological thriller, a point-and-click adventure. It was out for MS-DOS, Microsoft Windows. Players could play a gay character and move him around in the game. It is in other worlds, playable.
Bisexuality is a theme that appears often in video games and Phantasmagoria 2's Curtis Craig is openly bisexual. His best friend Trevor is openly homosexual and Curtis admits in his psychologist that he is bisexual and is attracted sexually to Trevor too.
