Whistlefritz is an educational and fun experience. The songs make you want to jump up and sing along!
Whistlefritz is an informative and entertaining way to learn a new language. I have always wanted to learn Spanish, and Fritzi and the others, like Maria, Jorge, Rito, and all the other children guide you along. I had a super divertido (fun) time learning Spanish phrases which I can use in my everyday life.
They use immersion, which simply means - everything is in Spanish and this is a great way for kids my age to learn a new language, because we can pick up words we hear, review them, learn them and then use them! I think Whistlefritz had the right idea when they made this product for kids and I thank them for letting me and my brother try it - we love it!
Deberías Probarlo! You should try it!
ABOUT WHISTLEFRITZ
Whistlefritz is an awarding program that uses language immersion so your child can learn how to speak Spanish or French! It was created after Founder, Heidi Stock set out on a mission to find a fun yet educational teaching materials for her children to learn a new language. She quickly realized that most programs solely featured cartoons and didn’t feature live speakers for children to watch the movement of their lips. Not finding what she wanted, Heidi decided to create it herself! Whistlefritz’s programs allow kids to join a group of lovable character including Fritz, the animated mouse Whistlefritz and friends on a journey to learn another language! The combination of live-action, animation, and lively music makes the programs as entertaining as they are educational! Children learn their second language through Whistlefritz the same way they learned their first language: through words used in context by live speakers in fun skits, games, catchy music, and dance! Whistlefritz’s collections include DVDs, flashcards and worksheets that are available in Spanish and French!

One warm day last year, we took the train to New York City to attend RuPaul's DragCon. It was going to be our first time attending, so both of our kids were eager to meet RuPaul (they truly believe the correct word is ConDRAGulations). I felt my daughter's excitement rising and decided to take her mind off her sudden anxiety at meeting one of her fave celebs, and started asking her questions. Upon answering these questions, she started fidgeting with her bracelet and as you can see from the video below, this is what took place. According to my daughter, hair ties are never around when she needs them. So to keep from losing them, she started wearing them on her wrist, but they would leave a mark because they were too tight. But, GoGirlDesigns.com created the ultimate solution with their patented bangle bracelets that serve as both a chic fashion accessory and a way to keep a hair tie conveniently at hand. The stylish bangles feature a divot that securely holds a hair tie without it cutting off circulation to your wrist and so you always have one at the ready. The Busy Girl Bangle Collection adds sparkle to your wrist and is available in three metal tones, silver, gold and rose gold. The new Boho Collection caters to the free spirited and features multi-colored beading while the Ebony & Ivory Collection is a classic look that is available in gold, silver and rose gold. Busy Kids Bangles are designed with the young fashionista in mind and come in fun, bright colors like pink, purple, blue, orange and green. Each Go Girl Designs bracelet comes with three elastic hair ties that feature heart shaped charms, but they can hold store bought ties as well. Check out more designs at GoGirlDesigns.com. We finally made it to RuPaul's DragCon and we had a great time. Everyone complimented my daughter on her bracelet, and then she showed off its hidden surprise and they loved it even more! Blog Sponsored by HER By: Lilly Chris, Staff Writer Recently, I was part of the production team of a photo shoot on a luxury yacht for a future issue of Connextions Magazine. This time I was in charge of makeup and hair for the model, so I had some time in between shots, and what else is there to do besides sun bathing - look for girls of course! We were shooting in the Hamptons, and his time of year, the Hamptons is super busy with people from everywhere. I remember that on a recent pitch-itch (it's what we call when we get together and talk about story ideas for future issues) we were talking about a dating app for lesbians called HER, so I decided to do some "research" and see who was around me - although I was in the middle of the ocean! To my surprise, there were plenty of girls near me, some around my age (early 20's), some older than me, it was fun. I started exploring HER and loved the fact that I was able to read stories related to my people. Sometimes I feel like most LGBT media is male-dominated, but HER feels like they really took into consideration my needs. It was easy to setup, all I needed to do was to use my Facebook application to sign in - at first I was freaking out about this because I really didn't want to mix the two apps. But during my investigation, I found out the makers of HER do not want men or spammers to be able to create accounts, so they use the Facebook application to verify that (A) I am a female and that (B) I am not spam - so I was cool with that. I remember using other dating apps in college and had to deal with trolls, so this is a refreshing update! In between photo shoots, I was able to read women-related articles, learn about the hottest lesbian events happening near me and had some great conversations with different women. During my research, I found out that HER promises to be "the best way to meet Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer women" in my community and around the world - and based on the number of people I was chatting with [we had a 5 hours photo shoot - don't judge me :) ] I think they really deliver on this promise! Who knows, my next blog post may be about my first date with any of those girls! To find out more about HER, simply get the free app, right now it's only available on IOS system, although HER makers are promising to have an Android app soon. It's currently available in the US and the UK. HER used to be called Dattched, which after customer feedback and suggestions received a makeover and HER was introduced to the world. Apparently the original name confused people, but there's no denying that HER speaks to all women - even those who may be questioning. Connextions Magazine, the Travel and Lifestyle Magazine for LGBT Traveler is pleased to announce a whole new look, including logo, website and branding, to commemorate 5 years of being the trusted source for the LGBT traveler. The magazine, with over 300,000 readers in 76 countries including: USA, Canada, Brazil, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Taiwan & Austria , recently requested love stories from the readers to feature in the February issue, which is appropriately titled: Love Around the World. Issue #17: Love Around the World, features the stories of 5 couples in 4 different countries. Their stories tell tales of love, dating, romance, proposals, marriage and honeymoon and how the different countries played an important role. In these stories, the locations act as witnesses of their love. For example, a couple in New York City shares their engagement story. When Tony asked Xio for his hand in marriage, he first sent him on an all day scavenger hunt around New York City “gathering memories” of their relationship. At the end, when Xio arrives at the final destination, Tony is there with a group of friends and strangers and after an impromptu performance of Elton John’s “This is Your Song,” he pops the question. The LGBT travel and lifestyle publication, which caters to the entire gay and gay friendly community, is now available on their website (ConnextionsMagazine.com), and can also be read via the Connextions Magazine’s Apple and Droid apps, which can be downloaded for free. Editor-In-Chief, Manny Velasquez-Paredes (MVP), says about the magazine, “We cater to the entire scope of our community. We have articles that are specifically related to gay or lesbian travel, bisexual news, transgender resources, and we even feature LGBT Family Travel, which is a section that is very dear to me, because it is the one I am in charge of writing.” As a Gay Dad, MVP knows what is like to travel with kids and knows that some of the issues LGBT parents face are far different than their hetero counterparts. This issue also features and exclusive interview with Photographer Braden Summers, who created a project titled “All Love Is Equal,” where same-sex couples are featured in iconic cities, such as Rio de Janeiro, Bali, Beirut, India, Paris, London and more. Braden says about All Love Is Equal, “it is a photographic series that challenges the social construct of ‘iconic romance.’ It is about looking at the iconic images of romance in advertising and movie stills and realizing that very few depict same-gender loving couples. ” In the last five years, Connextions Magazine has celebrated dramatic success . With over 300,000 readers in 76 countries, it is ranked among the Top 5% of all social media users and has over 15,000 followers on different social media channels. Like many others, Vanessa sold her soul to Corporate America, on a 7-10 year stretch, until realizing that true happiness doesn’t come from monetary rewards, it comes from soulful living. With the support of her husband, father, brother and five rescue dogs, Vanessa runs a business, right from the kitchen of her home, where she creates unique handmade artisan jewelry. Casual & formal, geek and unique, jewelry designs that are handmade with gemstone, pearl and crystal, made magical by accents of sterling silver and quality natural brass. Vanessa, better known as pink80sgirl, crafts a symphony of Victorian and vintage inspired designs. Putting one of her designs to the test, we purchased a necklace and then offered it to a friend who wore it to work. A fantastic 9 out of 10 people commented on the striking dragonfly necklace. The piece is a 25 x 18mm glass oval handmade cabochon, featuring a purple dragonfly. It sits inside a plain edged bezel setting, then mounted on a highly detailed Victorian filigree pendant. This lovely piece hangs from a pretty antiqued/oxidized brass chain measuring 18 inches including lobster clasp closure. This piece is nickel and lead free. Dan McLellan wanted to buy a romantic card for his spouse. He hunted in card shops and online, but nothing filled the bill. There were lots of sharp, funny, edgy, and sexy cards out there, but Dan McLellan wanted a romantic, tender card to express his deep feelings for his mate. There were none to be had. Dan and his spouse, Michael, are gay. McLellan doesn’t claim to be a trendsetter, just a man who couldn't find a product he wanted. So like many an entrepreneur before him, Dan decided to create the product he couldn't find. Mixing a love for quotes and a love for black and white photography, Dan created a collection of romantic gay cards and launched a new website, Homoquotables.com. The cards are made of high-quality paper and can be customized to suit the purchaser's needs, by displaying a variety of greetings. Any card can serve as a gay birthday card, a gay wedding card, or a gay card for another occasion in the life of a homosexual friend, family member, or lover. Dan plans to introduce one new card per month, with the addition of cards specific for lesbians now available. As featured in Connextions Magazine, Issue 8. Download the catalog below.
