letters to the editor
Dear Shelly,
First let me say that I can hardly type because I am so excited! The timing of this article is perfect! YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS BUT JUST LAST NIGHT I RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING EMAIL INDICATED BELOW, REGARDING SB 48. Immediately after seeing the excerpt that I penned which you featured in your recent publication, I phoned Marc Haupert of California Faith for Equality and shared it with him. I thought that this battle was over since those who opposed SB 48 failed to gather enough signatures to undo what the Governor had done by signing the bill into law, but as you can see we are in for a fierce battle in 2012. Words cannot express how grateful I am to you for featuring this excerpt. I have also asked Marc who works closely with Equality California and several other LGBT organizations to share the article with everyone he knows as well. Shelly, admittedly I am a little weary because I have been fighting for Civil Rights both nationally and internationally for some time and at times I become discouraged but what you have done by including this article in your publication has encouraged me and infused me with new strength and determination; two things I will definitely need in 2012 to prevail over injustice and discrimination. I feel I owe you so much! Thank you for stopping by the side of the road to pick up, rescue, and bandage a wounded soldier so that I could continue fighting the good fight of faith! I send my love, sincere gratitude, heartfelt appreciation and prayers your direction -- for your continued success and prosperity! Your Brother and Friend, Terry Angel Mason, Global Author WWW.TERRYANGELMASON.COM

Amazing as always...you girls never cease to amaze me :)
For me, Connextions Magazine is my choice of publications if you care about quality of content, beautiful photography, and every other aspect of what goes into publishing the best...WATCH OUT ALL OTHER LGBT PUBLICATIONS, Connextons Magazine is here to stay and rising fast to the top!
When I received my current issue, I literally dropped everything I was doing at the office and eased back into my chair to relax and enjoy what would be my best read of the day. "A Stonewall Retrospect" was one of the best articles I have ever read relating to the historic uprising which sparked a trend in LGBT Activism. A good friend of mine, Adam Hoover, was another highlight of the issue with coverage of his contribution to LGBT Equality in the state of Ohio...WE WILL HEAR A GREAT DEAL ABOUT THIS YOUNG MAN IN THE COMING MONTHS! I have known Shelly Straub, the editor of Connextions Magazine for quite some time now and have watched her take this venture and build it into what it is today. Truly, for anyone, if you are looking for a publication to latch on to and add to your top collection of reading materials or if you are a business wanting to reach a fantastic audience with your advertising dollars, you would be wise to turn to Shelly and Connextions Magazine. Regards! Joe Knudson, Author, Gay Rights Advocate, & International Committee Chairman of the 2012 Worldwide LGBT Civil Rights March I enjoyed this edition of the Mag so much so that I was late for work. I couldn't put it down until I had consumed it along with my breakfast! Great work team!
https://www.facebook.com/bobscozumel Great issue!!!The colors are outstanding! As always, it is wonderfully put together!!! *HUGS*
Angela Taylor Editor/Chief Writer ACEO Online Magazine I've been in awe of the last two issues, but this new issue is breathtaking. The photography, layout and content are superb. I enjoyed discovering dot429, and after reading about the seasonal highlights of Vermont, I wanted to pack my bags.
All of us at Dirty Boyz Play Clean, want to express our gratitude for the mention of our gay-centric company and appreciate Shelly's generous support. Keep up the great work! http://www.dirtyboyzplayclean.com/ Great magazine and issue Shelly. I admit I was apprehensive at first of a purely digital delivery as most lose richness, but, that was no problem with Connextions Magazine!I enjoyed the personal stories and your profile on dot429 was a different spin than I've read in other publications online. The greatest secondary attention grabber was the photography itself which was stunning.
https://www.facebook.com/jill.vegcookin Shelly, I am loving the new Vermont issue. Connextions is the best magazine of it's kind. Thank you again!
Great graphics and photography. Content seems almost all-inclusive. Love the layout! Looking forward to more for my brain to absorb, and less, but not much, eye candy. Love to see columns on gay entrepreneurship and even in a rural Southern town how LGBT can be successful business owners. I gave you four stars only because we all need a goal to be better that what we are.
The coverage of Mr. Gay World 2011 was fabulous; your "connecting the dots" section really allows everyone to know what dot429 is all about; the photos and coverage of Vermont is second to none; I could go on and on! Again, another informative, entertaining issue that just makes me want the next issue to come out right away...ADVERTISERS, YOU NEED TO SPEND YOUR DOLLARS WISELY AND THIS PUBLICATION IS ABOUT AS WISE AS YOU CAN GET, REACH THE MASSES WITH YOUR MESSAGE THROUGH "CONNEXTIONS MAGAZINE", YOU'LL BE SO GLAD YOU DID! Sincerely, J.C. (Joe) Knudson, Author and gay rights advocate
