 Southwick Beach State Park Town of Ellisburg in Jefferson County, New York By: Shelly Straub June 2014 Electric hookup only We spent the weekend of Father's Day, camping at Southwick with 2 other RVers. On Father's Day, many of our family members joined us at the beach for a picnic. We have done this for many years and unfortunately, this year was a bit cold on the beach. Most notables: Spending time with family, beach, bike path, red barns on the way to the park.

 Lake George Battleground Campground Lake George, NY May 2014 No hookup for trailers or RV's We spent the weekend during the Elvis Festival. The festival is meant to bring the music of the King to the Queen of America's Lakes. The festival's founders worked with Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. to create a world class event respectful to everything Elvis® stood for. Since the festival's inception, it has continued to grow, and is now the second-largest Elvis® Tribute Artist Competition in the world.  Westcott Beach State Park Henderson, NY May 2014 We were the first campers of the season on opening weekend! Nope, not eager at all. Camping loop: Plateau Site included electric hookup only. Most notables: Deer in abundance; very clean and newly renovated bathrooms; spacious sites; Overlook; Good Fellos Restaurant
