A message from Akil James Campbell, Chair - Shades of Pride: 

Our new vision for Shades of Pride's annual events is to focus more intently on diversity and inclusion. With this, we will be promoting all future events as Shades of Pride. Our theme for our 4th Annual Pride weekend, July 25 -28, 2013,  is "Express Yourself" and would like wonderful people such as YOU to submit video responses, using the questions below as a guideline.

1. Your name


2. City & state you were born in and the city & state in which you
   currently reside (you may also share other cities and states in which you
   previously resided)


3. What do you like most about the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham & Chapel
   Hill), NC?


4. Have you attended previous triangle black prides, if so which years -
   2010/2011/2012?


5. In general, what  do you most look forward to at pride (weekend)
   events?


6. What would you like to experience at Shades of Pride's 4th annual pride
   weekend?


7. Of the colors of the rainbow, which is/are your favorite? And why?


8. What would you say is most unique about you?


9. Are you Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning or an Ally of
   the LGBTQ Community?


10. What is your greatest wish for the LGBTQ Community?

The submission can be done via YouTube or emailing the video footage. We look forward to adding yours to the Shades of Pride website.
